A config based mod which allows you to assign music to certain mobs, which will play from them as long as they live. Once you have launched the game, a config file is created called “Thoreso_Boss_Music-common.toml” and the instructions should help you configure it as much as you like. I have displayed below the default state of the config, and what I personally use in my modpack, World of Moecraft.

#Boss music mappings. Each entry: ‘<match>=<soundEventId>’.

#<match> is either an entity type id (e.g. minecraft:wither) or a

#scoreboard tag any matching entity carries (e.g. umbreth_boss) –

#useful when several summons share one entity type (like Ice and

#Fire dragons) and only some of them should get boss music.

#<soundEventId> is any loaded sound event, e.g. one a music disc

#already uses (find it in that mod’s sounds.json).

#The track loops and follows the entity until it dies or despawns.

#Edits to this file hot-apply within a few seconds – no restart or

#/reload needed (Forge watches config files for changes).
