Scarlet Recipes

Scarlet Recipes A comprehensive overhaul of combat, mining, survival, mobs, crafting, loot, world generation, blocks, items, entities, and more. No other mods required.

Combat System

• Armor now has 50% chance to save durability on hurt
• Crossbow got really fast
• Parry system (Q as default, drop item is G on default now)
• Swords got machete-like look, their durability increased x2, now can attack through passable blocks
• Vanilla jump crits removed. Don’t ask.
• Hand Animations: Custom poses for parrying, crossbow, bow, spear, and flamethrower

Tools & Mining

• Gravel now drops only flint, and only with a shovel
• Planks now drop only with an axe
• Logs now Drop only with an axe, break 3x slower, whole-tree felling (up to 100 logs + leaves)
• Hammer: Iron and Scarlet hammers break 3×3 blocks
• Ore: Mining ore mass-mines up to 16 blocks of the same ore within a 16-block radius

Food & Hunger

• Apples: x2 drop chance from oak and dark oak leaves
• All animals and fish drop raw meat instead of vanilla drops. Now there is only raw and cooked meat. Meat drop increased
• Cocoa beans and honey are now also in vanilla chests (60% chance)

Sleep & Time

• No night skip, 10x faster daycycle when all players are on beds instead. Works at daytime as well
• Daycycle lasts 2x longer

Mobs & AI

• Tamed wolves get 30 HP and 30 armor, forgive accidental hits
• Villagers now have female model, no sounds, 1 Watcher that always appears nearby villager spawns
• Assassin. 30 HP, 20 armor, translucent until revealed, attacks players
• Watcher. 40 HP, protects villagers, fed with cooked meat to heal up
• Scarlet Golem. 500 HP, 16 damage, climbs walls, shoots fire, drops Scarlet Opal
• Ironella. 100 HP, 30 armor, robot companion, healed by iron, follows player and kills mosnters

Recipes & Crafting

• Removed Recipes: Crafting table, golden apple, stonecutter, wooden/stone tools and swords, bread
• Planks: 1 log → 2 planks instead of 4
• Netherite Tools: Crying obsidian instead of sticks
• Golden Apple: 1 gold ingot instead of 8
• Enchanted Golden Apple: 2 diamonds + ghast tear + blaze powder + Warden Blood + Scarlet Opal
• Wool: 1 wool → 4 string instead of 2
• Nether Wart: 1 block → 4 wart instead of 9
• Gunpowder: Craft from coal + bone meal + sugar, or from TNT (1→5)
• Quartz: Smelt amethyst shard
• Sugar: From beetroot, berries, glow berries
• Flour: 1 hay → 3 dough (stonecutter)
• Bread: Craft from dough in furnace/smoker
• Blast Furnace: 8 copper ingots instead of 3 iron
• Stonecutter: 1 iron ingot instead of 3

Loot & Drops

• Experience: Fixed: 500 from bosses, 10 from hostile mobs, 1 from passive mobs
• Grass: Does not drop seeds
• Leaves: Drops nothing (empty loot table)
• Gravel: 15% flint, 85% air
• Copper Ore: 2-4 raw copper instead of 2-5
• Warden: 2-3 Warden Blood + echo shards + netherite scrap
• Creeper: 3-4 gunpowder + redstone
• Wither: 2-4 blaze rods
• Ghast: 1-2 ghast tears

Visual Changes

• Coordinates: Permanent HUD: coordinates, biome, clock
• Horizon: Fog at 90% of render distance to make it beautilul
• Swords: Renamed to “Machete” (Iron/Golden/Diamond/Netherite Machete)

Survival Mechanics

• Step Height: 1.25 blocks instead of 0.6
• Death Backpack: Deadpack block with inventory at death location
• Torch and lantern in Offhand: Placing disabled
• New feature – Notes. J key, full text editor.
• Starter Kit: Torch, crossbow, 32 arrows on first join

World & Generation

• Saltpeter Ore: New ore, explodes in a chain reaction
• Glowing Ore: New ore, emits light level 15
• Netherite Remains: New ore at Y -60..-30
• Flint Stones: Small decorative blocks on the surface
• Iron Veins: Size 14 instead of 9, with a “Raw Heart” (50% chance)

Blocks

• Closet: 112-slot storage, pretty durable block
• Engineering Workbench – crafting complex recipes was never comfier
• Trash Can: Well. Destroys items
• Scarlet Press: Creates diamonds from compressed coal, blaze rods from special mixture

Items

• Flint Tools: Axe, pickaxe, dagger (durability 180)
• Iron Hammer: 1000 durability, damage 12, level 2
• Scarlet Hammer: Unbreakable, damage 20, level 4
• Scarlet Pickaxe: Unbreakable, speed 15, level 4
• Scarlet Sword: 100000 durability, damage 17, parry, slowmo
• Flamethrower: 2000 shots, shoots napalm
• Gunpowder Stick: Projectile with TNT explosion
• Saltpeter: Ingredient for gunpowder and flesh processing
• Friendship Pearl: Teleport to a random player, 60 sec cooldown
• Ironella Box: Spawns/teleports Ironella
• Detox: Removes all effects
• Workbench Tablet: Portable crafting table
• Realistic bread crafts
• Fried Egg: Smelt an egg
• Cooked Meat: Smelt raw meat
• MRE: Nutrition 16, always edible
• Flesh to leather but recipes are now a bit more complicated
• Warden Blood: Drop from Warden, for the Scarlet Sword

Projectiles

• Gunpowder Stick – throwable tnt-stick. Dangerous.
• Napalm – fire breath from Flamer (new flamethrower).
