Project Arrowhead: The Mist

This mod brings Stephen King’s The Mist to Minecraft. Contains all the creatures from the movie and some from the novella, as well as other lovecraftian monsters.

You have just 10 days of being able to do whatever you want in the overworld, at which point, a mist will begin rolling in. There might not be anything dangerous in the mist at first… but there will be soon.

Recommend playing at the highest simulation distance that you can! It is also highly configurable.

The creatures that spawn in the mist are dangerous. The mist is not as heavy underground and vanilla mobs have retreated below, so if you want to continue a normal Minecraft life, head on down. But if you’re prepared to compete in the new food chain and try to survive; good luck.

There weren’t actually many entities in the Mist, so I added a bunch of other mobs that I believe fit, some inspired by other franchises, some entirely new. Smaller creatures will appear first, the larger ones come a little later. Villagers remain on the surface, so you might want some underground village mods if you want some surviving villagers.

I wont spoil too much else. It’s currently a WIP project that I may build more upon, depending on if I have free time and/or if there’s demand/suggestions. Also report any bugs you come across!
