Escape The End Core

Escape the End Core is the central technical mod used by the Escape the End modpack.

It contains custom gameplay systems, compatibility logic and fixes that are required for the modpack’s progression to function correctly.

Rather than acting as a standalone content mod, Escape the End Core connects multiple parts of the modpack together and modifies their behavior where necessary.

Its features include:

• Custom progression systems used by Escape the End.

• Compatibility between selected mods included in the modpack.

• Fixes and behavioral adjustments for modded content.

• Custom logic used for progression, portals, bosses and world transitions.

• Internal systems created specifically for the Escape the End experience.

• Resource and data overrides required by the modpack.

Some of these changes are implemented through Mixins and compatibility patches. This allows the original third-party mods to remain installed normally while Escape the End Core adjusts specific behaviors required by the modpack.

For players, this means that different mods behave as parts of one progression system instead of functioning independently.

For example, certain bosses, dimensions, portals or progression mechanics may behave differently from their original versions because Escape the End Core connects them to the overall structure of the modpack.

The mod is primarily intended to be used as part of Escape the End and is not designed as a general-purpose standalone mod.

Removing Escape the End Core from the modpack may break progression, custom mechanics or compatibility between other installed mods.
