Adventure’s Backpack

Adventure’s Backpack is a Minecraft Forge mod. One worn backpack becomes a full expedition kit: storage, tools, crafting, potions, fluids, energy, and a fold-out camp.

The pack

One item upgrades through five tiers — Traveler, Explorer, Ranger, Runic, and Relic — and keeps its contents when you upgrade it. You wear it in the pack socket on the equipment page, or in a Curios back slot if Curios is installed. Press E or B to open the worn pack.

Inside it:

• Four compartments (Mine, Build, Combat, and Loot) grow from 27 to 63 slots each. You can rename them, color them, and set routing rules so pickups land in the right tab.
• 18 bulk slots hold one plain stackable item far past a normal stack, from 4,096 at Traveler up to 65,536 at Relic. The Deep Pockets Rune adds another 61,440 on top.
• Six tool slots hold tools, shears, tridents, and Endgame. Tap the tool key to draw one onto a dedicated hotbar slot, or hold it to pick from a wheel. Mining and Combat presets can pull the right tool or weapon for you.
• Four offhand slots you cycle with Y.

Slots can be protected so hoppers, restocking, and voiding leave them alone.

Upgrades

Sockets take three kinds of upgrades, one of each item:

• Attachments: a 3×3 crafting grid, a furnace that keeps smelting while closed, your ender chest, a builder’s belt that places the selected bulk block, and a food pouch that eats safe food when you are hungry.
• Runes: auto-pickup into matching storage, a magnet, extra bulk capacity, hotbar restocking, and optional voiding of overflow into full unprotected bulk slots.
• Storage addons: a quiver for arrows and fireworks, three potion vials, a brewing stand that keeps working while carried, two 128-bucket fluid tanks, a 1,000,000 FE battery, and a bank for 200,000 experience points.

Forager, Gem, and Cartographer pouches sit on their own page and filter seeds, gems and metals, and maps and books. What you put in a pouch stays on the pouch item if you take it out.

Camp and dock

The Fold-out Camp Kit places a bed, lantern, barrel, and furnace, then packs them back up with their contents. The Expedition Dock holds one pack so hoppers, fluid pipes, and energy pipes can use it. A docked furnace, alembic, and battery keep running.

Late-game gear

Endgame is one unbreakable weapon with ten forms: lance, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, sword, staff, shortbow, recurve, and greatbow. The name and enchantments carry across forms. Hold Z to pick a form.

Two unbreakable armor sets sit on top of that. Crimson is the mid set, with a winged chestplate that flies like an elytra. End Game is stronger, and its chestplate grants flight. Both have a winged variant.

Optional: Curios 5.14.1 adds a back slot for the pack. AzureLib 3.1.24 animates the winged armor. Just Enough Items 15.20.1-15.56 lets you fill the pack’s crafting grid from the recipe view.
