A vanilla-style ranged-combat progression mod for Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3 on Fabric. Upgrade from a normal bow to copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite bows, and combine them with material-tiered arrows.

Installation

Choose the file matching your Minecraft version:

• Minecraft 26.3: Bow Tier Progression 0.3.4-rc.1, Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.20.1 or newer, and Fabric API 0.165.0+26.3.
• Minecraft 26.2: Bow Tier Progression 0.3.3-rc.4, Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer, and Fabric API 0.156.0+26.2.

Install the mod on both the client and server when playing multiplayer. Place the JAR in your mods folder and install only one version of Bow Tier Progression at a time.

Enderite Mod and the resource packs mentioned above are optional and need their own support for your Minecraft version. To use the visual adapters, enable the relevant built-in compatibility pack above its original resource pack.

Recipes and progression

Craft material bows around a vanilla bow. Upgrade the Diamond Bow to Netherite with the standard Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template. Arrow smithing upgrades consume batches of eight arrows; golden arrows remain separate from that upgrade path.

Minecraft 26.3 update — 0.3.4-rc.1

Updates the mod for Minecraft 26.3 and Fabric, including bundled resource-pack format 97.1. Existing item IDs, bow and arrow balance, and Sharpshooter behavior are preserved.

Clean build, all 14 injection target signatures, 135 resource JSON files, and dedicated-server initialization passed. This is a beta release candidate: client visuals, world gameplay, and optional-mod/resource-pack compatibility still need playtesting.

Minecraft 26.2 update — 0.3.3-rc.4

Corrects tiered-arrow base damage, makes bow draw-speed bonuses functional, preserves custom model data when ammunition changes, and saves projectile tiers and Sharpshooter state across reloads. Also restores documented skeleton ammunition rolls and prevents weak Enderite shots with disabled pickup from creating recoverable arrows.
