I want to be upfront: this project was entirely vibe-coded (written with the help of AI). I needed a mod like this for my own modpack and couldn’t find one, so I made it and decided to share it in case it helps someone else.

I’m not a professional mod developer, so expect rough edges. It works for my use case, but I can’t promise perfect support or polish. Bug reports and contributions are welcome, and feel free to use it, fork it, or improve it!

JourneyMap Shared Maps Chunky Bridge connects the chunk pre-generation tool Chunky with JourneyMap Shared Maps, automatically revealing pre-generated chunks on the server map without requiring manual exploration.

Server-Side Only: This mod only needs to be installed on the dedicated server (or host). Clients do not need to install it to view the updated map!

📋 Requirements

This mod requires the following plugins/mods on your server:

• JourneyMap (and JourneyMap Shared Maps)
• Chunky

⚙️ Installation

1. Download the version matching your Minecraft and mod loader version.
2. Drop the .jar file directly into your server’s mods folder.
3. Start the server and run your usual Chunky pre-generation commands.
4. Chunks will automatically be rendered and synchronized on the shared map!
