An apocalyptic, biological horror expansion based on the terrifying universe of Trevor Henderson.

Trevor Henderson Mobs: The Flesh Infection is a complete, modern rewrite of the classic public domain mod. The world is no longer safe: a grotesque, visceral plague is spreading through the Overworld, warping the environment into breathing tissues and awakening legendary cryptids that hunt in the dark. Your only hope of survival is to uncover the secrets of ancient laboratories, contain the plague, and take the fight straight into the heart of the infestation.

Key Features:

The Spreading Piaga: Rotten meat and cryptid strikes now trigger the Flesh Infection. Watch in horror as the soil turns into pulsing masses of Nascent Depravity and Moldy Depravity. If left unchecked, these blocks will expand and consume your world.
Dynamic Cryptid AI: Monsters no longer just mindlessly chase you. Experience unique behaviors:
- The Crawler: A disfigured, multi-jointed quadruped that stalks you through the mutated forests with erratic, bone-snapping movements, and infects.
- The Hoarder: A small, opportunistic parasite that steals rotten flesh from the ground and caskets. Beware: the more flesh it consumes, the larger and more mutated it becomes, evolving into an aggressive, player-hunting titan! (“”wip””)
- Siren Head: The towering apex predator. He spawns exclusively during storms or in heavily corrupted zones, distorting your vision and emitting haunting directional radio frequencies, can exist only 1 per world. (wip)
Chemical Containment: Discover Chalk (Gesso) and Bleachstone (Candeggina) within abandoned laboratory structures. Process them to create sanitizing chemical barriers and serums to cleanse the flesh and reclaim your base.

To disable the infection spreading entirely:
/gamerule trevorcraftInfection false or /gamerule trevorcraftInfectionInterval (ticks, default 200)
(This stops the flesh from turning nearby dirt blocks into Depravity, but existing blocks will remain).
To instantly cure the world via command:
/trevorcraft infection cure (coming soon)
(Forces the global variable to true, instantly stopping the apocalypse just like you defeated the boss).
To check the current infection stage of the world:
/trevorcraft infection status (coming soon)

Important Warning: World Compatibility

This mod has been completely written from scratch with brand new code. It does not share the same registry IDs as the original 6-year-old version.

DO NOT update or backport old worlds using the legacy mod, as this will result in total item deletion, missing blocks, or permanent world corruption.
Starting a New World is highly recommended. Always backup your saves!
