介绍
The Godzilla from *Godzilla Minus One* arrives in Minecraft like never before: featuring a true polygonal 3D model—not one built from cubes. It consists of approximately 44,000 triangles and 128 bones, complete with high-resolution textures. It is animated using its own custom skeleton, much like in professional animation software. Standing 50 blocks tall—mirroring the 50.1-meter height from the film—every step it takes causes the ground to tremble.
This is no ordinary mob. It is a living disaster within your world: it hunts you at sea, emerges onto land every few days, destroys everything in its path, and is immune to all your weapons. There is only one way to defeat it—the very same method used in the film.
Model and Animations
Idle: Breathes, slowly looks around, flexes its claws, and ripples its tail.
Walking: Heavy, firmly planted steps, with a swaying hip motion and a trailing tail.
Roar: Crouches down, tilts its head toward the sky with its mouth agape, and raises its tail into a vertical position.
Atomic Breath: Its dorsal spines light up blue one by one, from the tip of the tail to the neck. It coils its tail, throws its head back, and fires.
Swimming: Its body remains submerged, with only the dorsal spines visible, cutting through the water and churning up foam—just like in the film.
Underwater Bite: Lunges its head out of the water with its mouth open to bite (boats stand no chance).
Land-based Bite: Lowers itself to the ground, seizes its prey, shakes it, and tosses it through the air.
Tail Sweep: Spins around, using its tail to clear everything in its immediate vicinity.
Stunned: Following decompression, it floats inertly on the surface. Death: a blue light courses through his body from head to tail; he cracks with light and falls backward into the sea.
Atomic breath is a bomb
When the beam strikes, it explodes like an atomic bomb: a blinding flash, a fireball, a shockwave, a ring of dust, a crater of scorched, burning earth, and a massive mushroom cloud.
A few seconds later, radioactive black rain begins to fall for 60 seconds. Anyone caught in the open is afflicted by “Radiation”—accompanied by the sound of a Geiger counter. If you take cover, you are safe. Afterward, the sky clears.
He hunts you at sea
Spend some time in the open ocean, and you’ll start to notice something is wrong: dead fish from the deep rise to the surface all around you, and the sea falls silent. Then, his dorsal spines appear, slicing through the water.
He pursues you—whether you are in a boat, flying above the sea, or standing on a pier in the middle of the water. If he catches up to you, he bites. If you manage to reach dry land, he rises from the water as he nears the coast, lets out a roar, and unleashes his atomic breath before returning to the sea.
He swims through even the deepest waters, and in frozen seas, he shatters the ice as he passes.
He comes ashore every 3 days
On days 3, 6, 9, 12… Godzilla emerges from the sea:
Alert: air-raid sirens blare, a warning arrives via radio and on-screen, and the sea falls silent.
Approach: he appears in the nearest body of water and swims toward you. Near the coast, he stands upright and rises from the water.
Making landfall: he roars and heads straight for you, destroying everything in his path—attacking any other creature he encounters along the way. He leaves: after a few minutes of destruction, or perhaps after unleashing two atomic breaths, he returns to the sea.
If there is no sea nearby, he arrives on foot.
He attacks anything that moves.
He targets players—his favorite prey—but also animals, villagers, monsters, and golems. He prioritizes those who attack him, choosing his offensive move based on the prey’s position:
In front and at ground level: a ground-based bite.
Surrounded, or with the prey behind him: a sweeping tail strike.
At his feet: stomping.
At a distance: atomic breath.
His body, feet, and tail demolish any structures in his path—houses, trees, walls—nothing can stop him.
The Nightmare of Night 1
The first time you fall asleep, you have a nightmare. You find yourself on Odo Island in 1945, at the small airbase seen in the film: the airstrip, the hangar, a damaged Zero fighter plane, spotlight towers, sandbags, palm trees, and a campfire, surrounded by eight Navy soldiers and mechanics.
Dead fish wash up on the shore, the sea falls silent… and Godzilla—still small (15 meters tall)—emerges from the water. The soldiers open fire and flee, but he pursues them one by one; those closest to him are frozen with fear. As he moves, he wrecks the base, topples the spotlight towers, crashes through the hangar, and crushes the Zero.
He leaves you unharmed. Once no one else remains, he approaches you and roars right in your face—then you wake up beside your bed, and it is daylight.
He is immune to all weapons.
Swords, arrows, tridents, TNT—everything simply bounces off his skin, which regenerates instantly. There is only one way to kill him, just as in the film: Operation Wadatsumi. Phase 1: Decompression
Craft Freon harpoons and fire them at it; each one attaches a Freon tank to the creature. You need 4 in total (multiple players can fire them).
Lead it into deep water—ensuring there are at least 16 blocks of water beneath it—while it is actively swimming.
Activate the Wadatsumi detonator: the Freon
It envelops him in bubbles and drags him to the bottom, then balloons suddenly yank him back to the surface. The decompression strips away his regeneration (the “Lethal Pressure” effect) and leaves him stunned, floating on the surface.
Phase 2: The Coup de Grâce
Upon waking, he rises in the water and charges his breath attack with his mouth wide open. You have 14 seconds.
Deliver an explosion into his open maw:
Just like in the film: pilot the Shinden fighter—equipped with a bomb in its nose—aim for his mouth, and eject via parachute before impact.
Fire an anti-kaiju missile at him.
Launch a depth charge into his mouth. You can use the grappling hook to latch onto his body and pull yourself closer to his head.
If you miss, he fires his breath attack, recovers, and the entire operation must be repeated.
Phase 3: The End
The explosion detonates inside him; light courses through his body, causing it to crack and crumble into the sea. He leaves behind floating regenerative scales, an unstable atomic core, and fragments of his dorsal spines.
However, his remains linger on the seabed—a piece of him that pulses slowly and grows over the following days. Once regeneration is complete, Godzilla returns.
Items
Freon Tank, Freon Harpoon, and Wadatsumi Detonator: used for the operation.
Shinden Fighter: A pilotable aircraft with a nose-mounted bomb. Use W and S to accelerate and brake; the plane flies toward where you are looking, and the SPACE bar triggers your ejection.
Anti-Kaiju Missile Launcher and missiles.
Depth Charge: Sinks in water before detonating.
Grappling Hook: Allows you to latch onto objects or Godzilla’s body to pull yourself toward them. Godzilla Scale Armor: Wearing all 4 pieces grants regeneration, underwater breathing, and immunity to radiation.
Atomic Cannon: Hold down and release to fire a blue atomic beam.
Everything can be found in the “Godzilla Minus One” tab in Creative Mode, alongside the Godzilla spawn egg.
