Introduction

Welcome to How Minecraft Should Be, a carefully crafted Quality of Life (QoL) modpack designed to bring back the nostalgia of older Minecraft versions while still offering modern features and performance. As a Minecraft veteran, I created this pack to bridge the gap between the classic gameplay of 1.7.10 and 1.8, and the latest advancements in the game.

This modpack is optimized for lower-end computers, featuring a range of performance-enhancing mods such as Sodium, Lithium, and Entity Culling to ensure a smooth gaming experience. With these mods, you can enjoy the game without sacrificing too much performance.

QoL Upgrades

HMCSB includes a variety of QoL upgrades to make your Minecraft experience more enjoyable. These include:

• Mousetweaks for improved mouse controls
• Inventory sorting to keep your items organized
• No attack cooldown for faster combat
• And many more tweaks to enhance your gameplay

To give you a taste of the old days, this modpack comes with the Programmer Art default texture pack, reminiscent of the classic Minecraft look. However, don’t worry – you can still build modern farms, explore new biomes, and enjoy all the latest features that Minecraft has to offer.
