Reinforced Pickaxe

A stronger, longer-lasting alternative to the standard diamond pickaxe.

• 1×1 Precision Mode: Mine individual blocks normally.

• 3×3 Area Mode: Excavate nine-block areas with one mining action, subject to block eligibility.

• 100,000 FE internal energy capacity.

• 100 FE per successfully mined block.

• Diamond-equivalent mining capability.

• Automatically adjusts the 3×3 mining plane to the face being mined.

• Retains stored energy and selected mining mode between sessions.

Perfect for tunneling, mining rooms, and clearing large underground spaces.

Advanced Mining Drill

For players who need greater performance and longer operating time.

• Faster mining than the standard Powered Drill.

• Netherite-equivalent mining capability.

• 500,000 FE internal energy capacity.

Digital Miner — Precision Resource Extraction

Why excavate an entire mountain when you only need the valuable resources?

The Digital Miner surveys underground terrain, identifies supported ores, and selectively extracts the resources you choose.

Unlike traditional quarries, it leaves most surrounding terrain untouched.

• Geological Surveying: Discover ore deposits before extraction.

• Ore Detection: Automatically identifies supported vanilla and tagged modded ores.

• Advanced Filtering: Include or exclude specific block IDs and tags.

• Survey Selection: Choose desired ores from the survey results.

• Configurable Mining Region: Adjust X/Z dimensions, horizontal offsets, and vertical limits.

• Real Ore Extraction: Removes actual ore blocks rather than generating virtual resources.

• Optional Backfilling: Replace extracted ore positions with supplied materials.

Compact Quarry — Early-Game Automation

Start automating excavation before you’ve established an electrical power network.

The Compact Quarry is a small, self-contained mining machine powered by familiar furnace fuels.

• Uses supported furnace fuels, including coal, charcoal, coal blocks, and lava buckets.

• No external FE network required.

• Compact, frameless single-block construction.

• Automated layer-by-layer excavation.

• Up to 32 vertical layers per operation.

• Internal fuel and output storage.

• Correct container returns for compatible fuels.

• Automatically pauses when fuel or storage is unavailable.

• Resumes eligible work when chunks become loaded.

• Craftable and functional in Survival.

Perfect for early resource gathering, smaller excavations, and temporary mining operations.

Industrial Framed Quarry — Large-Scale Excavation

When a small quarry isn’t enough, bring in the heavy equipment.

The Industrial Framed Quarry is an FE-powered excavation machine with a visible frame, gantry, and moving mining head.

• Adjustable minimum and maximum mining heights.

• FE-powered automated excavation.

• Visible four-corner quarry frame.

• Animated gantry, cable, and mining head.

The quarry frame is a visual structure and does not require players to construct physical frame blocks.

• Protection against duplicate extraction and item loss.

• Machine-breaking safeguards that return recoverable contents.

Important limitations: Automated machines currently require their owner to be online in the same dimension with appropriate permissions. Some unusual or unsupported blocks are skipped. FE-powered equipment requires a compatible charging or energy source. Compatibility with every third-party mod is not guaranteed.

StrataWorks is actively expanding. The following features are planned and are not included in version 1.3.0.

Advanced Digital Miner Upgrades

The Digital Miner’s modular architecture is planned to support more powerful internal components.

Advanced and Industrial Assemblies

Future Scanner, Extraction, and Processing Assemblies will provide improvements to scanning range, mining performance, and customization capacity.

Customization Modules

Planned modules include:

Fortune and Silk Touch will be mutually exclusive.

An optional XP Collection Module is planned to capture eligible experience generated during automated extraction.

Planned features include:

• XP storage scaling with Processing Assembly tier.

• Direct XP withdrawal through the machine GUI.

• Experience bottle production.

• Configurable full-buffer behavior.

• Options to pause extraction or discard excess XP.

Modular Quarry Complex — Late-Game Mining

A future late-game quarry system is planned to introduce large, physically constructed mining facilities.

Potential features include:

• Modular multiblock construction.

• Replaceable mining components.

• Expandable excavation areas.

• Larger storage systems.

• Advanced automation.

• Specialized industrial fuels.

• FE-powered machinery.

• Configurable mining performance.

The Modular Quarry Complex is intended to combine large-scale excavation with greater player control over the machinery itself.

Additional handheld mining capabilities are also planned.

Works Alongside Flux Foundry

StrataWorks complements Flux Foundry and other industrial technology mods.

Use StrataWorks to extract raw materials, then transport, process, and manufacture them using your preferred technology systems.

Flux Foundry is not required to use StrataWorks.
