What if a Creeper could fly like a Phantom?

This Forge 1.20.1 mod introduces three airborne threats: the Phantom Creeper, the lightning-charged Phantom Creeper, and the rare Crimson Phantom Creeper. They circle overhead, dive toward visible targets, hiss, and begin a Creeper-style countdown before exploding. Each variant has its own appearance, damage, explosion range, and spawning conditions.

Survive with the Ocelot Totem, which drives nearby Creepers away, or build an altar to create a protected “Small World.” The basic altar offers simple protection, while the awakened altar unlocks adjustable boundaries, runic patterns, colors, cosmetic weather, local sky time, access controls, and protection records. A staged activation animation brings the barrier to life.

You can also summon friendly Phantom Creepers with single-use horns, catch wild variants with a throwable net, and release captured creatures later. For a deliberate fight, place a one-use Challenge Banner and track the encounter with a raid-style progress bar.

An interactive in-game guide explains the creatures, items, crafting recipes, and altars. Spawn rates, damage, explosion behavior, and terrain destruction can be configured.

Requirements: Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 and Forge. Install the same mod version on both the server and every client when playing multiplayer.

Note: A Small World is a protected area, not a separate dimension. Its custom weather and local sky time are visual effects; they do not change the server’s global weather or time.
