Universal Fear

Universal Fear is a lightweight, robust, and highly configurable utility mod designed for players and modpack creators who want total control over entity interactions.

Ever wanted Zombies to actively sprint away from Chickens? Need to make survival terrifying by forcing standard monsters to flee in absolute panic from custom alien invaders or massive boss entities? This mod makes it possible !

Features:

• Configurable: Easily define your own “Fear Pairs” via a simple config file using standard registry names.

• Constant Fleeing Speed: Mobs run away at a smooth, customizable velocity—no awkward stuttering or jittery pathfinding.

• Absolute Fear AI: Bypasses default pathfinding limits. Mobs won’t stop running just because they lose line of sight; if a threat is within their tracking radius, they will run.

• Universal Mod Compatibility: Built using a laser-focused type filter. It seamlessly detects and handles entities from other custom mods without conflict.

How to Configure:

After running the mod once, navigate to your instance’s config/ folder and open mob_fear_mod-common.toml
