Create: Air Quality adds a per-chunk pollution system to your world. Clean air is a sign of a healthy environment; too much pollution can turn an ordinary trip into a serious hazard.

Pollution comes from sources scattered throughout the world and can be reduced by pollution sinks, including the Air Purifier block. Keep an eye on your surroundings with a handheld meter that reports local air quality, and build systems to help keep the air clean.

In heavily polluted areas, players may suffer debuffs and need to use Create’s Diving Helmet and Backtank to breathe safely. The hazard can also affect mobs and crops, so pollution management matters beyond player survival.

As air quality worsens, the world shows it: expect haze or smog, a tinted sky, and atmospheric particles that make polluted areas hard to miss.
