Create Fly: Aquatic Ambitions

The Conduit Cage: pump a fluid into it and it ages copper, revives coral, makes prismarine and gives nearby players and mobs effects. No guardian farm needed.

Includes

• Conduit Cage, Prismarine Alloy, alloy rods and alloy blocks
• Channeling: fan processing through an awakened cage or an active conduit, 48 recipes
• 24 conduit effects picked by the fluid in the cage, potions included
• Corals drop without Silk Touch, contraptions can harvest them
• 4 Ponder scenes
• Channeling recipes in REI and JEI
• Server config

Usage

Most blocks have an in-game Ponder scene for a walkthrough on how to use it!

Awakening

Pump a fluid into the bottom face of the Conduit Cage:

• A bucket of water keeps it awake 20 seconds, a bucket of potion 300, any other fluid 60
• It stores up to two hours of awake time, then rejects fluid
• Water gives Conduit Power. Other fluids and potions give their own effects
• The mode slot picks who is affected: everyone, players, friendly mobs, players and friendly mobs, monsters

Channeling

Encased fan blowing through an awakened cage, or through an active vanilla conduit:

• Copper ages one stage per pass, blocks, cut, slabs, stairs, chiseled, bulbs, doors, grates and trapdoors
• Dead coral, coral fans and coral blocks come back alive, corals and fans doubled
• Sponge becomes two wet sponges
• Flint to prismarine shards, glowstone dust to prismarine crystals, an eye of ender to a heart of the sea
• A suspicious rock splits into a spiky shell and a nautilus shell

Effects

Add, change or turn off effects with a datapack, one JSON per effect. The cage reads a potion’s contents and amplifier on its own.

Config

config/create_aquatic_ambitions-server.json: cage range (32), seconds of awake time per bucket of water, potion and other fluids, the awake-time cap and how much one pipe insertion may hold.

Known Issues

• A cage that just woke up needs a fast pump
• Fluid pumped into a full cage is lost
• Awake time and effect strength reset after a server restart
• No recipes for the newer copper blocks: bars, chains, lanterns, chests, golem statues, lightning rods
• KubeJS and Upgrade Aquatic support are not included
• No in-game config screen, use config folder

• For JEI: install Create Fly: Recipe Viewer on both server and client.
• Fabric 0.19.3+
