TFC Preservation Predictor answers that on the tooltip. Hold Shift over any TerraFirmaCraft
food and it tells you the date that food would spoil if it were sealed in a vessel — before you
commit one.

In Sealed Vessel: Expires on July 2, 1000 (35 days)

• Dates use TFC’s own calendar formatting, so the line reads like part of the vanilla tooltip
• Reads the preservation strength from TFC’s config, so it stays correct on servers that tune it
• Works with food from any mod that uses TFC’s food capability — no hardcoded item list
• Shows nothing for food already in a vessel, food that never decays, or food already rotten
• English and Russian included

Purely client-side in effect and adds no items, blocks, or world generation — it only reads what
TFC already tracks and does the arithmetic for you.
