Welcome Board

Give players the information they need when they first join your pack.

Create a welcome page with a title, message, image, and link buttons. Use it for a quick introduction, server rules, a wiki, or important update notes. Players who have already read it are not shown it on every visit; increase its revision when there is something new to read.

Set up a page

Add JSON content to config/welcome_board/ in the client pack. Separate files can hold separate announcements. Pages are bundled with the pack, rather than pushed from the server.

Each page supports one image and up to eight link buttons. Buttons open web pages, not commands. On NeoForge, /welcomeboard preview lets you check the welcome page; that command is not included in the Fabric build.
