Teams is simple: crouch, tap a friend, name your crew. Now you can spot them through walls, find them on the map and pick them up when they go down. Nobody online? Hire a squad.

🤝 Invites happen in person
Sneak, right-click a player and name your team. That’s the whole invite. They tap you back and they’re in.
👁 Know your crew, even through walls
Your team name shows under your name for everyone. Your own teammates get the VIP treatment: big tags that glow through walls and stay readable from way across the ruins.
🧭 Find them anywhere
Teammates show up on your minimap and world map at any distance. A little roster in the corner points you to each one.
🪖 Built for running together
- No friendly fire: swords and arrows pass right through your own crew.
- Team Board: craft one and hang your whole roster on the wall, kills and deaths included.
- Bragging rights: see which team is on top.
🩹 Down is not out
A hit that would kill you drops you on the ground instead. You can’t fight, but you can hang on. A teammate who holds use on you picks you back up.
💰 Nobody online? Hire a crew
Visit a Recruitment Board and spend your Kaos Credits on AI squadmates in iron, diamond or netherite gear. They follow you around, fight whatever hits you and never touch your stuff. Fill a squad of four.
Requirements
Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. No required mods. Xaero’s Minimap is optional, for map markers. Install on both client and server.
Teams is the co-op glue of the Federation Of Kaos modpack, a post-apocalypse survival shooter where you take bounty contracts and missions together against an outbreak that hears you coming: find your squad through the ruins, hold your fire on them, and pick them up when they go down. It depends on nothing else in the pack and works in any Forge 1.20.1 server. You are welcome to include it in your modpack.
