Style Items

Tools for roleplay, NPC recording and filming, plus useful administration commands.

Record a scene

Requires Custom NPCs Unofficial.

Get the Recording Wand from the Style Items creative tab.
Right-click an NPC to keep its appearance, or right-click empty space/a block to use your own appearance.
Wait for the 10-second countdown, then perform your scene.
Press Home to finish and receive a numbered recording paper.
Right-click an NPC with the paper. Playback starts after 3–2–1.

Recordings include movement, held items, clothing changes and supported actions. Optional support includes More Player Models, Curios, Sit and Emotecraft. Supported Automobility, Style Cross and Immersive Vehicles scenes can include the vehicle and its seats. Keep the route loaded and use the same vehicle mods and content packs on all clients.

Mobs and NPCs you attack can be included as scene actors. Human players are not copied. Playback can affect the world, including damage and block breaking. Voice chat, menus, arbitrary scripts and every mod’s custom actions are not recorded. Old recordings without vehicle data need to be recorded again for vehicle playback.

Roleplay items

Police Badge and Identity Card: show your player head and name. Right-click to personalize; the badge also opens and closes.
Microphone: hold right-click to raise it.
Document File and Cash Bundle: handheld props.
Sky-Launch Stick: launch a living target upward.
Directional Launch Stick: launch a target where you are looking.
Follow Wand: right-click an NPC to select it, then click a player or vehicle for it to follow. Sneak-right-click the NPC, or use the wand in the air while sneaking, to stop. It follows on foot; it does not drive.

Launch sticks need operator level 2. Recording and following need operator permission or creative mode.

Text Signs

Place text on a block face with the Text Sign item. In 1.4.1+, use Shift + right-click on existing text to edit it, with an empty hand or any item. Adjust its size, color, background, shadow and brightness in the editor. Delete it using the editor’s button. No LittleFrames or web links are needed.

Commands

Administration commands require operator level 2.

Command	What it does
/heal [players]	Restore health.
/feed [players]	Restore hunger.
/fly	Toggle your flight permission.
/fly <players> <true/false>	Set another player’s flight permission.
/speed <number>	Set your speed (0.1–10; 1 is normal).
/speed <players> <number>	Set selected players’ speed.
/pvp enable / disable / status	Manage PvP.
/freeze <players> <true/false>	Freeze or unfreeze selected players.
/freeze players / mobs / everything <true/false>	Freeze or unfreeze a group.
/styleadmin tools	Get the launch tool.
/styleadmin launch <entities>	Launch selected living entities.
/styleadmin status / reload	View or reload settings.

Also includes /randomtp for safe surface teleportation within the supplied bounds, and makes vanilla /kick, /ban and /pardon available when missing.

Installation

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge, installed on the server and all clients. Custom NPCs Unofficial is needed only for NPC recording, playback and following. Other integrations are optional.

Settings: config/style-admin.properties. Change the Home shortcut in Minecraft’s key bindings. Formerly called Style Admin.
