Adds a backpack that is a property of the player, not an item. It has three compartments by default. Each starts locked and opens with a Backpack Compartment, then upgrades through four tiers. Every compartment is independent: its own tier, its own contents, its own filter.

Switch autopick on for a compartment and picked-up items go straight into it, skipping your inventory. Its filter decides what it takes: mark items, then choose whitelist or blacklist. Cobblestone can go to one compartment and ores to another while your hotbar stays clear. When every compartment that wants an item is full, it falls back to your normal inventory.

Press B to open the backpack, or use the button beside your inventory.

Four buttons on the backpack screen move stacks in bulk: store everything, store only what the compartment already holds, take everything, take only what you already carry.

Crafting

Craft a Backpack Compartment from 4 string, 4 leather and 1 iron ingot. Applying it to a locked compartment opens it at Common. Each upgrade is crafted from one Backpack Compartment plus the materials below, and is applied to a compartment at the tier before it.

Common, 26 slots. The Backpack Compartment itself.
Uncommon, 52 slots. 4 gold blocks.
Rare, 78 slots. 4 diamond blocks.
Epic, 91 slots. 3 diamond blocks and 1 nether star.

Recipes can be switched off in the config so a pack can supply them its own way.

Configuration

Everything is decided server side. The config sets how many compartments players get, which tier each one starts at, whether contents survive death, whether recipes are enabled, and a list of item types no backpack may hold. Blocking an item never deletes one that is already stored; the player can still take it out.

Required on both the client and the server.

Requires Inventory Button Bar.

Good to know

An Epic compartment is tall. On a 1080p screen with GUI Scale set to Auto, its top and bottom run off the screen; set GUI Scale to Large or smaller and it fits.
