Fargol Space Cpvp

Black and white crystal PvP pack with a space theme. Made this because I wanted something clean for PvP without all the vanilla colors distracting me mid-fight, plus I’m a sucker for a good space aesthetic.

Based on Marlowww’s Vanilla+ 2D Crystal pack, converted to full black and white (actual grayscale, not just darker colors) with a custom space sky added on top.

What’s actually changed
Every item, block, and entity texture in the base pack (700+ total) converted to true grayscale
Custom rotating sky for the Overworld – a black hole with a glowing ring, nebula, and a full starfield instead of the normal blue sky
Matching black and white sky for The End too
Sun and moon reskinned so they fit the theme during the day and night
Grass and glowstone specifically redone with the real textures (not just recolored – had to fix the biome tint file too since grass kept showing up green even after converting the base texture, that’s a separate file Minecraft blends on top)

Items covered

Diamond sword, pickaxe, axe, netherite sword, full diamond armor set, bow, crossbow, arrows, ender pearls, golden apples (regular and enchanted), shield, xp bottles, totems, end crystals, obsidian, crying obsidian, glowstone, respawn anchors, stone, grass (top/side/snow). Pretty much everything you actually touch in crystal pvp, on top of the rest of the pack also being converted underneath it.

Installing

Drop it in your resourcepacks folder like any other pack, either as the zip directly or extracted, both work. Activate it in Options > Resource Packs like normal.

The space sky part specifically needs OptiFine or Iris to actually show up – it’s not a shader, it uses the custom sky feature those two support. If you don’t have either one installed, everything else in the pack (all the item/block textures) still works completely fine, you’ll just see the normal vanilla sky instead of the black hole one.

Credits

Base pack is Vanilla+ V2 “2D Crystal” by Marlowww, go check out the original if you want the full color version. Everything on top of that (the b&w conversion, the sky, the icon) is mine.
