Uncharted Core: Cobblemon Breeding

Uncharted Core

Pokémon breeding for Cobblemon, plus quest-book milestones. Made for the Cobblemon Uncharted modpack, and works on its own with Cobblemon 1.8 (Fabric 1.21.1).

🥚 Breeding

• Put a compatible pair in a Cobblemon Pasture: a male and a female sharing an egg group, or anything paired with a Ditto. Every so often (about 8 minutes on average) they leave a Pokémon Egg.
• Eggs go into a chest or barrel next to the pasture (so hoppers can collect them), or pop out on top of it. A pasture holds up to 4 waiting eggs.
• Walk to hatch. Carry the egg; it counts down the blocks you walk (egg cycles × 100 by default). A party Pokémon with Flame Body, Magma Armor or Steam Engine doubles the speed.
• The baby is the first evolution stage of the mother’s line (or of the non-Ditto parent), at level 1. It goes to your party, or your PC if the party is full.
• Inheritance: 3 IVs from the parents, or 5 with a Destiny Knot; a parent holding an Everstone passes down its nature.
• Undiscovered egg-group Pokémon (legendaries, babies) can’t breed, and neither can two Dittos.

🏅 Milestones

Advancements (without toasts) that quest books can use, under uncharted::

• journey/*: trainers beaten, gym leaders 1–8, Elite Four, Champion, rivals and villains (needs Radical Cobblemon Trainers)
• dex/*: catches, evolutions, levels, shinies, trades, fossils
• battle/*: wild and PvP battle wins
• types/<type>: catch 10 Pokémon of each type
• breeding/*: find an egg, hatch an egg

Commands and config

• /uncharted egg <species> [steps] (operators) gives an egg.
• config/uncharted-core.json sets breeding on or off, minutes per egg, waiting eggs, blocks per egg cycle, and whether egg tooltips show the species.

Requires Cobblemon 1.8+ and Fabric API. Install on both client and server.
