Play with Figura avatars by logging in with your Ely.by account.

Why You Need This

Figura verifies the account owner through Mojang’s session servers. If you
play via Ely.by (offline ecosystem, authlib injector), Figura’s official backend
won’t let you through—your avatar won’t load and won’t be visible to others.

Figura Ely fixes this: the mod redirects Figura to a backend that verifies
login via Ely.by (hasJoined from Ely.by, not Mojang). By default,
the public backend is used, so no configuration is needed—just install it and
start playing.

How It Works

1. You launch the game with your Ely.by account (via an authlib injector—for example,
   ElyPrismLauncher). This means that Figura’s login check (joinServer) is already sent to
   the Ely.by servers.
2. The mod substitutes the address of an Ely.by-compatible backend for the official one in Figura.
3. The backend verifies your login with Ely.by and issues a token. Avatars load,
   sync, and are visible to everyone using the same backend.

The mod is purely client-side; it doesn’t interfere with the game session and communicates with Figura via
reflection—so it continues to work during Figura updates, and if something
ever changes within Figura, it will simply log instructions on how to set the address
manually and won’t break the game.

Requirements

Without logging in via Ely.by, the mod is pointless: the backend verifies your identity specifically through Ely.by.
A regular Microsoft account should be used with the standard Figura.

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader, Fabric API, and Figura.
2. Place figura-ely-x.y.z.jar in the mods/ folder.
3. Launch the game using your Ely.by account (authlib-injector / ElyPrismLauncher).
4. Done. Equip your avatar—other players with this mod will see it.

Configuration (optional)

When you first launch the game, the config/figura-ely.json file is created:

• enabled — the mod’s toggle (false → Figura remains on the official backend).
• backendHost — the address of an Ely.by-compatible backend. You can specify your own,
  including the port: “myhost.example:8443”.

After editing the file, restart the game.

Your Own Backend

The default public backend is a shared “island”: avatars are visible only to those
on the same address, and it is not connected to the main Figura network. If you want full
control (your own server, your own company, local network), you can set up the backend
yourself (Node.js, Docker + auto-HTTPS, or self-signed TLS for LAN) and
configure it in backendHost. The source code for the backend and the mod is available via the Source link on
this page.

For a self-hosted backend with a self-signed certificate, the mod can add
trust automatically: place config/figura-ely.crt next to the config file (or build
a JAR with the certificate embedded)—the mod will import it into the game JVM’s trusted store upon
launch. For a public domain with a standard certificate (Let’s Encrypt), this is not necessary.

Limitations

• Only players with the same backendHost can see each other’s avatars.
• This is a separate add-on, not connected to the main Figura network.
• You must log in via Ely.by—there’s no point in using Microsoft/Mojang accounts.
