Brewin’ & Chewin’: Classic Edition brings the fermentation-focused Farmer’s Delight addon to Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, introducing new food processing methods, drinks, ingredients, and recipes.

Expand your kitchen beyond ordinary cooking with the Keg, a specialized workstation for brewing and fermenting ingredients into new products.

From carefully prepared beverages to cheeses and sweet treats, Brewin’ & Chewin’ adds another layer of depth to survival food production.

Universal Adaptive Backporter Integration (1.7.10 & 1.12.2)

Optional integration with Universal Adaptive Backporter (UAB) restores original fermentation recipes requiring modern Minecraft ingredients.thi

• Honey: Unlocks Mead and other honey-dependent recipes.
• Glow Berries & Glow Ink: Restores specialty beverages such as Glittering Grenadine.
• Kelp & Sea Pickles: Supports Kimchi, Kippers, Pickled Pickles, and other fermented foods.
• Nether Fungi: Restores ingredients used in Scarlet Cheese, Steel Toe Stout, and other recipes.
• Beetroot & Modern Ingredients: Expands original vegetable-based fermentation and brewing recipes.
• Additional Compatibility: Supports other enabled UAB ingredients while preserving native processing requirements.

UAB is optional. Recipes automatically respect enabled features, required ingredients, liquid items, and serving containers.

Recipe Scripting (1.7.10 & 1.12.2)

Added optional MineTweaker 3 (1.7.10) and CraftTweaker 2 (1.12.2) support when using Farmer’s Delight Classic Edition.

• Add, remove, or replace Fermentation Keg recipes through ZenScript.
• Customize ingredients, liquid items, outputs, containers, fermentation times, temperature requirements, and experience.
• Supports Ore Dictionary ingredients, metadata, and NBT.
• Compatible with the shared Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot, Cutting Board, and Skillet scripting APIs.
• Includes example scripts and documentation.

Neither scripting engine is required for normal gameplay.
