Welcome to Miricly!

Miricly is designed around the look and feel of old PS1/PS2 Era RPGs and Platformer (Ex.: Maximo, MediEvil, Overlord as more modern title, etc.). A diverse roster of mobs will give you many new dangers to strategize against. Many new features, such as climbing and wall jumping will give you more movement freedom for both mining and exploring. All while uncovering a slightly deep, whimsical dark story around a land taken over by the undead and its still alive denizens trying to get it back.

Oh, and you stumbled right into this dilemma! Isn’t that wonderful?

But what is Miricly exactly?

Miricly was designed to give the player as much freedom in his playthrough as possible. However, the mods are build around 3 playstyles, namely:

• The Tactician: Meele arsenal, tool customization, honing and diverse armor. The true Vanilla+ experience!
• The Magician: Spellcrafting, BOOKS (lots of), wands, familiar, summons… You trade sword and pickaxe for magic!
• The Technician: Gadgets, automation, contraptions, complex crafting, vehicles, guns… Basically everything you’d want from create & friends!

In the end, it is your choice how you want to play. You will never be restricted to one playstyle.

These features are just centered around the player. Wich are not fun to play when the world of Miricly has no challenges and benefits to apply those new features..

As you might uncover in The Lore …Your average mobs and world got a much needed update.

This includes:

• Over 20 new Mobs! (Many of them undead and pretty hungry)
• A new vast, detailed and content-rich world to explore (With BYG’s worldgen and familiar Strucutes from Yung’s Mods, Valhesia and more!)
• More diverse, dangerous Dimensions (Blue Skies, Undergarden and your good old Twilight Forest!)
• Bosses hidden around the worlds (Even in the Overworld! Thanks to L_Ender’s Cataclysm)
• An increasing Difficulty wich will lock itself in stages! (And can be decreased in the future..)
• QUESTS! (Still WIP don’t except much here)

This Modpack is kind of a passion project wich i develop in my free time. Expect updates to come out “when its ready” and when i get to upload them.

Current focus is quests, fixing bugs and getting datapacks to work correctly.
