Kronentroll’s Graves
A secure and configurable Fabric grave mod with inventory restoration, grave compasses, access sharing, protection, JSON5 configuration and administrative tools.
介绍
Kronentroll’s Graves
A secure, configurable and server-side grave mod for Fabric.
When a player dies, Kronentroll’s Graves safely stores the player’s inventory, armor, offhand items and experience in a protected grave. Players can recover individual items, restore experience separately, restore everything at once, share access with trusted players and use a personalized grave compass to find the grave.
Server-side
This is a server-side mod. Players do not need to install the mod on their clients and can join with a normal compatible Minecraft client.
Fabric Loader and Fabric API are required on the server.

Audit logging
Kronentroll’s Graves writes privacy-conscious audit events to:
logs/kronentrollsgraves-audit.log
Audit logging uses a separate file instead of flooding the normal server console. Entries include the timestamp, action, actor, actor UUID, grave ID, grave owner, grave number, grave status, result and relevant technical details.
Depending on the configuration, the audit log can record:
- Grave creation and failed grave creation
- Virtual-grave fallback
- Later physical grave placement
- Item recovery and blocked item transfers
- Experience recovery and blocked experience transfers
- Complete, partial and started restoration
- Access denials and administrator bypasses
- Access request creation, acceptance and denial
- Compass creation, updates, removal and cleanup
- Public-access and expiration events
- Empty-grave and administrative removal
- Administrative repair, relocation and restoration actions
The logger writes asynchronously so audit-file I/O does not run directly on the server tick thread. The active log rotates at 10 MiB and retains up to four files:
kronentrollsgraves-audit.log
kronentrollsgraves-audit.log.1
kronentrollsgraves-audit.log.2
kronentrollsgraves-audit.log.3
kronentrollsgraves-audit.log.4
The log records item IDs and amounts, but not complete private inventories or full item NBT by default.
Configuration
The active JSON5 configuration is stored at:
config/kronentrollsgraves.json5
An existing config/kronentrollsgraves.json file is detected and migrated automatically when no JSON5 configuration exists. Existing functional values are preserved. Configuration values are validated when loaded, and invalid values are corrected with a server-log warning.
The configuration can be reloaded by an administrator with:
/graveadmin reload
Always stop the server and back up the world and configuration directory before editing settings.
