The Ore

This mod introduces a powerful new resource tier: rubies. Ruby gear surpasses even netherite in strength and durability, offering players the most potent tools and weapons in the game.

Key Features:

Ruby Ore:

generates deep underground at Y = -10 to Y = -50;

is extremely rare — appears in small veins (1–3 blocks per vein);

requires a diamond pickaxe or better to mine;

serves as the foundation for the strongest gear in the game.

Ruby Tools & Weapons:

Ruby Pickaxe: faster mining speed and higher durability than a netherite pickaxe. Can mine all blocks, including obsidian, with ease.

Ruby Axe: cuts through wood and logs at lightning speed.

Ruby Shovel: digs dirt, sand, and gravel faster than any other tool.

Ruby Sword: the most dangerous weapon in the game. Unique Effect: when a mob is struck with the ruby sword, it explodes in a small fireball, dealing area‑of‑effect damage to nearby enemies. The explosion is similar to a creeper’s but less powerful (does not destroy most blocks, deals 15 HP damage in a 3‑block radius).

additional items (ingots, decorative blocks) are planned for future updates.

Balance & Progression:

rubies are intended as an end‑game, post‑netherite tier;

mining and combat stats significantly exceed those of netherite;

the explosive effect of the sword adds a high‑risk, high‑reward dynamic to combat.

Future Plans:
The mod is in its early stages. Future updates will introduce:

new ores and materials;

ruby armour sets with unique enchantments;

custom enchantments for ruby gear (e.g., «Volatile Strike» for swords, «Blast Mining» for pickaxes);

new structures where ruby ore can be found.
