Mutants & Zombies – Contagion Compatibility

This is a lightweight compatibility mod that allows the hostile mobs added by Mutants & Zombies to interact with Contagion the same way vanilla zombies do.

Affected mobs can now infect players while fully respecting Contagion’s existing mechanics, including:

• Contagion’s configurable infection chance
• Armor-based infection protection
• The Immunity effect
• Existing infection behavior

In short, Mutants & Zombies mobs now behave like vanilla zombies with respect to Contagion’s infection system.

Notes

This mod does not modify or redistribute any code or assets from Mutants & Zombies. It simply listens for damage caused by that mod’s entities and integrates them with Contagion’s infection mechanics.

Mutants & Zombies remains the property of its original author.

I originally created this for my own private zombie modpack and decided to share it in case others find it useful.

I’m not a professional mod developer, so I can’t promise frequent updates or rapid bug fixes. If the community finds it useful, I’ll happily consider maintaining it.
