Tormented Descent

Welcome to Tormented Descent,a very atmospheric survival horror experience.

This modpack was designed to create a different sense of horror,one that comes from the environment more than the abundance of horror monsters and mobs. It focuses on eerie elements and survival aspects which also challenge the player in trying their best to survive. 

Some of the changes to your survival also include thirst,fatigue,sanity,temperature,nutrition and health systems

The horror mods that do exist aren’t all that intrusive,but they are very difficult to counter. Defeating them is also way more difficult than it would otherwise be. 

You can encounter numerous hostile entities that make your experience all the more terrifying

Progression has been altered,you start with flint items and have more realistic progression,requiring you to forge iron armor,tools and shields using smithing anvils,tables and grindstones

Food has been reworked,now you have to go through a longer process to obtain food,using cleavers,hanging dead animals,cooking them over campfires. Vegetables are obtained differently too,as they now have specific growing seasons

A nutrition system has been added to create a more immersive feeling for this pack,now you have several different categories you have to maintain to keep your health at a steady level and maybe even increasing it with a balanced enough diet

Ambiance has been heavily worked on to create a realistic and immersive atmosphere and emphasize the environmental horror aspect of the modpack. These changes include environmental disasters: storms,tornadoes,fires and more!

I recommend around 6GB RAM to run well.
