A nice simple tech mod pack, with a few extra mods to have a more expansive gaming experience.

Mods:

Alex’s Mobs – A great mod that adds many new creatures to interact with (hostile and friendly), new resources and crafting recipes from the new drops from the new mobs.

Biomes O’Plenty – A mod with a large amount of new biomes and new resources mainly new trees to add more adventuring possibilities.

Farmer’s Delight – This mod adds new vegetables as well as its own crafting stations to create new combinations of food.

Just Enough Items – The mod gives the player an interactive window and search bar to research new items and how to craft them.

Mekanism – The main tech mod with loads of new factories various new ingots, powders and ores. As well as new tools, jet packs and armor. This mod requires a lot of electricity which there are many ways of collecting, storing and using. This mod also includes pipes to move objects around, tanks to store liquids and gas canisters to store many different gases.

Mekanism Generator – This mod adds more generators and reactors to collect electricity and make the Mekanism mod better.

Nature’s Compass – A simple mod that adds a compass that points at the direction of a selected biome, this will help to navigate the world and find the biomes you are looking for.

Sophisticated Backpack – A mod that enables the player to have a backpack that stores items as extra inventory space.

Sophisticated Core – A mod that works with the Sophisticated Backpack mod to give the backpack more uses, such as backpack crafting table.

Tinkers Construct – This is also a very large mod that adds a few more blocks and new ores, but the mod is mainly based around the tool forge where you create your prefect tool each part at a time out of many various materials whether it’s the head, the binding or the handle there are many  unique tools to build. The mod also adds new tools styles including the sledge hammer that mines in a 3 x 3.

Xaero’s Minimap – This mod adds a minimap to the top of the screen as well as simple coordinates.

Xaero’s World map – This mod adds the ability to load up Xaero’s map on full screen.

New Mods update 1.01

Corpse – The mod will create a corpse on death to store your inventory this will stop your items de-spawning.

Fast leaf decay – The mod decays the leaves quicker after the last log is chopped down to prevent long waits for the leaves to disappear and to easily get saplings to plant more trees.

Jade – This mod will give a little helpful UI addition that will tell you what you are looking at the best tool to mine it and what mod that block is. This will help understand the mods and prevent destruction of useful objects from using the wrong tools.

Magnesium/Rubidium Dynamic Lights – This will give torches and other light sources the ability to light up while in your hand.
