Art Update

Hey, Ard here, creator of the “Art Update” mod. This is the first version of this mod. I plan to develop it in the future; I have many ideas for it. The idea for this mod arose because my friends and I were missing something in our game that could enhance spells or attract items like a magnet. I started creating this micro mod, which was supposed to be available only for us for a one-time use. Then I got into it and made textures for blocks and thought I’d add a biome… then I added a few more, and it became a huge thing… and I couldn’t resist and not finish it. Finally, the idea for a boss and another update was born. The mod adds several new biomes and a new dimension. 

The mod begins with finding the “Art House” structure. Inside the chest, the player can find an ArtBook, which serves as a small guide to the mod. New information will be added there to make the game easier to understand, including how to activate the portal to the new dimension, other hidden mechanics, and more.

The mod is still in active development. At the moment, I’m working on completing the current version of the mod.

Find Art House – an abandoned house in the overworld. In the chest lies the Art Book, a guidebook on fashion.

Find Old Town – an abandoned town with a portal frame made of Ancient Chiseled Line blocks and Old Stand racks.

Place offerings on the four stands near the frame: Dragon’s Breath, Wither Skeleton Skull, Sculk, and Heart of the Sea.
Click the frame with the Brocken Echo item. The frame lights up and opens a portal.
The portal feeds on offerings — taking any from the stands will extinguish it. The return portal in Brocken Soul lights up with a normal click.

• In this update, there are 4 new mini bosses and an updated Brocken Soul dimension boss.
  

• With the updated main boss of the mod: “Artist”

• In the new full update, a lot of new and interesting mobs have appeared. For example, new cats. These magical cats can be tamed. There are 15 kinds of such cats. Each one is unique and has some magical ability. Such a cat can be tamed with Soul Fish. 

• If you have a mess in your chests and don’t have time to sort it out, I suggest you summon a helper from the beyond. SoulHand is a new mob you can tame, and he will help you keep your storage organized.
  

Summon him with the SoulHand ritual and give him GhostDust to tame him. Then use SoulDust on a regular chest, after which you can put your items in it. SoulHand will take items from that chest by himself and place them into special categorized chests.

Along with new biomes, mobs, and items, the mod adds a lot of decorative and functional blocks.

There are new DecorativePotBase, PotFlower, BigCandle, SkullCandle, Pouf, lots of kinds of new monuments and pillars, fire spells, and much more…

• There are new armors, weapons, artifacts…

A new mob, the Ancient Upgrader – this mob is a magical blacksmith who can raise an item’s enchantment level beyond the limit.

For now, there is no boss in the game. I’m still working on it. You will be able to find the boss structure in the game once it is ready. I want to make sure the boss is properly polished, and I hope that in the next update you will be able to play the full version of the mod rather than just the beta. 🙂
