The Federation needs things moved across a dead world.

Kaos Missions adds jobs to the Kaos Hunter Bounty Board. Carry the cargo, crack open salvage, hold a relay, bring a survivor home. Every job pays in Kaos Credits, and every job brings a horde.

It comes with:

• Five kinds of run, each with its own twist 🎲
• Three new jobs every dawn, so the board never runs dry 🌅
• Cargo you wear on your back, loud enough that every zombie hears you coming 📦
• Hordes that come from where you are going 🧟
• Co-op: bring a friend and everyone who finishes gets paid 🤝
• A Field Uplink you can build: your own job board at home 📡

📦 Courier

Strap on the Sealed Cargo and walk it a long way out to a Drop Box. Plug it in and hold the line while the uplink counts down. Stay alive and you get paid.

🔩 Salvage Op

Find a Salvage Node in a ruined city and hold it open under fire. One hit and it seals shut again, so clear the pack first. Then carry the Tech Core home through a second, nastier fight.

🏃 Dead Man’s Intel

Grab the Cipher Drive and run. A named Kaos Hunter is on your trail and gaining. Stopping is what gets you caught. Outrun it, or turn around and kill it. Quit the job and that hunter comes after you for real.

📡 Hold the Relay

Raise a mast at the edge of a city, then dig in. You get a few quiet minutes to build walls and set traps before three waves hit. Patch the mast to keep it standing. Hold it and the mast becomes a Federation Relay that’s yours to keep.

🧍 Last Survivor

A bitten civilian is waiting in a ruined city, and the infection clock is ticking. They copy how you move: crouch and they crouch, sprint and they run loud. Walk them to a Bounty Board before they turn. A Vaccine Injector stops the clock for good.

🎒 The cargo is the mission

• On your back. The cargo grounds your jetpack and jams Recall, so there is no shortcut home.
• Don’t ditch it. Leave it behind or die carrying it and the job is blown.
• Ambushes. Out on the road, hordes and hunters jump you. Survive them for bonus pay.
• Bring a friend. Squad up and everyone who makes it to the finish is paid.

🧟 Hordes from the road ahead

Mission hordes don’t spawn behind you. They show up on the road ahead, standing between you and the finish line, and they keep coming after you if you lose them. Walls won’t hold them for long. A Decoy Beacon pulls a wave away. This works best with Outbreak Protocol installed, but the mod still runs without it.

🏪 Spend it at the Mission Broker

Jobs pay Kaos Credits and drop schematics. Spend the pay on Decoy Beacons, Signal Jammers and route intel. Collect the schematics and build a Field Uplink, a wall terminal that puts the job board and the Broker in your base. The Broker never sells guns or armour.

• Requires Kaos Hunter, Credits and Augment Protocol.
• Optional: Outbreak Protocol for mission hordes, Carry Pack for stations at a relay, and Xaero’s maps for shared waypoints.

Kaos Missions is the second half of the work loop in the Federation Of Kaos modpack, a post-apocalypse survival shooter. It lives on Kaos Hunter‘s board, pays through Credits, uses Augment Protocol‘s back slot to make cargo cost something, and hands its fights to Outbreak Protocol. Missions are optional offers; nothing else in the pack gates on them. You are welcome to include it in your modpack.
