Cuddle Together

Share a bed with someone, and instead of the screen fading to black, watch the two of you cuddle while the night passes.

Right-click a bed another player is sleeping in and you lie down beside them. While you both sleep, the camera rises out of your eyes and shows the two of you curled up together, as Hourglass speeds the night up to a sunrise. In the morning it glides back into your eyes and you both wake up.

Features

• Two players in one bed: right-click a bed someone is sleeping in to lie down beside them.
• A cuddle on both players’ models: the one who lay down first on their back with an arm round the other, the one who climbed in with their head on their shoulder. Everyone nearby sees it.
• No black fade for the two of you: a camera shot of the two of you instead, while the sky turns to morning. It never goes through walls.
• Hearts float up now and then.
• Either of you can get up any time; the other sleeps on.
• All the game’s own sleep rules still apply: night only, no monsters near, and claim mods still decide who can use a bed.
• Sleeping alone stays as it always was.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, or Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge
• Hourglass: it speeds the night up smoothly, which is what gives the cuddle its time. Without it the night would skip at once. (On 1.21.1, Hourglass’s 1.21 beta.)
• playerAnimator: it plays the cuddle on the players’ models
• bendy-lib (1.20.1 only): it bends the elbows and knees in the cuddle.
• 1.21.1 Emotecraft (Required): it includes bendy-lib, which bends the elbows and knees in the cuddle (bendy-lib has no 1.21.1 download of its own).
• Installed on the server and on every player’s game

Made for the Evolutive modpack, but it works in any modpack with Hourglass and playerAnimator.
