Description

This is a community-maintained fork of Loot Beams Refork, focused on a straightforward Forge 1.20.1 installation. It highlights dropped items with configurable beams and optional loot information, without requiring extra dependency mods.

Features

• Show configurable light beams and ground glow for dropped items.
• Tune beam size, height, transparency, fade-in, and ground behavior.
• Choose which items receive beams with rarity and equipment filters, plus whitelists and blacklists by item ID, item tag, or mod ID.
• Use rarity colors, item-name colors, and custom color overrides.
• Display an item’s name, rarity, and stack count above it, or show loot details in a screen overlay.
• Optionally play a subtle sound cue for rare drops.
• Choose whether beam planes follow the camera’s horizontal direction, which is useful with top-down camera views such as Dungeons Perspective Unofficial
• Optional mod integrations activate only when their compatible mods are installed; none are required.

This is a client-side mod. Install it on the client; a server does not need to install it.

The mod’s settings are available in Forge’s configuration menu and in the generated config/lootbeams-*.toml files.

Fork, source, and license

This project is a fork of Loot Beams Refork by TUsama, not an official release. This branch targets Forge 1.20.1 and removes the upstream fork’s extra required mod dependencies. The project is licensed under CC0-1.0.
