Jdunascii’s Keep Inventory is a lightweight server-side Minecraft mod that gives you fine-grained control over the keepInventory mechanic — enabling it per player, rather than globally for the entire world.

Features

Per-player control over keepInventory and experience retention
Easy in-game command: /keepInventory <player> <true|false>
Fully server-side — no installation required on the client
Supports Minecraft 1.21.9+ with Forge

Notes

Inventory and XP are saved at the moment of death and restored upon respawn.
Items and XP will not drop if keepInventory is enabled for a player, preventing duplication.
This mod does not change the global keepInventory gamerule — it operates independently per player.
