Totem of Perception

The Totem of Perception begins as a Totem of Undying. Obtain one by defeating an evoker, then rename it “Totem of Perception” in an anvil to awaken its portal magic. Carry it in either hand to wield three powers. The primary ability creates an obsidian-framed Nether portal at the surface you target, or in your facing direction when no block is selected. Its range reaches fifty blocks, letting you open a passage across terrain or through a wall. Invader unleashes portals around the block where its power is activated. They appear at varied heights and distances, forming a perimeter that does not follow you if you move. Null Swarm surrounds its bearer with four portal walls, twelve portals on each side, while keeping the wielder at the center. Its portals arrive in a rapid sequence. Each power carries a cooldown, and every portal arrival is marked by the sound of blocks being placed. The relic’s Null influence can condemn marked targets when a Totem of Perception saves its bearer, while a separate pardon can release them. The original totem’s saving magic remains intertwined with portal craft, making this relic both a lifeline and a force that can reshape the battlefield.
