SLG: ABSOLUTE SURVIVAL

                 My own take on the Surival Aspect of Minecraft (Guide);

STRUCTURES:

Few Structures are disabled and a lot rarer than in the base game,

 Ocean Monuments ; Ruined Portals ; Strongholds ; Ancient Cities are disabled

-> There is no way of getting to the End nor the Nether

BUT you ll find the most important Resources in the Overworld either way;

Overworld Quartz & Netherite Ores (Both only drop Shards), some craftable & findable Nether Items etc.

few New Structures (Ruined Lighthouse, Structory, Formations Overworld, yungs extras)

overhauled Vanilla Structures (Yungs better dungeons, desert temples, jungle temples, witch huts, mineshafts ; Hopos Better underwater ruins, Lukis Grand Capitals)

SURVIVAL:

The Game now has a Thirst Mechanic. (Thirst was taken)

Lots of new craftable dishes. (Farmers Delight) ALL, EXCEPT FLINT & IRON, KNIVES REMOVED

Trees can be chopped and fall to the ground. (HTs Treechop + Pandas falling Trees)

Coal has a risk to explode if a Torch is placed on it. (Coal Explosion)

NEW Enemies; 

Mutated Vanilla Enemies, which will make your survival a lot more difficult. (Mutant Monsters) REMOVED ALLIES & EVERYTHING COMBAT RELATED

a lot of new Zombie Variants, which all give different debuffs etc. while also adding the Possibility to eat a new version of Rotten Flesh. (Rotten Creatures)

Realistic Spiders, which now crawl surfaces like they do in real life (nyfs spiders)

Hostile Mobs now attract to Sounds. (Attract to Sound Realistic Mob hearing and Stealth AI)

Zombies can tower up & general improvements to most hostiles AIs (Enhanced Hordes)

MECHANICS

You can crawl by pressing a key now, instead of having to place a trapdoor above your head. (Crawl on Demand)

You no longer can spam left click but actually have to wait until the attacking bar under your crosshair is fully loaded. (Exhausted Stamina)

Sleeping now takes some time and actually progresses crops & more like granting a small amount xp, but also removing hunger points when waking up. (Realistic Sleep, Sleep Hunger, BedXP)

Fire now has a realisitc spreading mechanic & more (Burnt)

Crops now also only grow in specific Seasons and grow faster during Rain (Crops love Rain + Serene Seasons)

Seeds and Crops can now be crafted into Crates or Bags, like most mineral Blocks in Vanilla Minecraft (Medieval Seedbags, farmers delight)

EQUIPMENT:

MOST of the Armor & Tool Recipes have been reworked to be a lot more complex. (Hot Iron)

Ore Gems now have to be polished in a new Grindstone Variant to be usable. (Spelunkery)

New Helmet, which increases Attack Damage as you take damage (You ve Goat to be kidding me)

Drowned have a chance to spawn with new Scuba Gear which will help diving in the new Deeper Oceans (Scuba Gear + Deeper Oceans)

A new Horn dropped upon killing the Warden, which has the Sonic Boom ability. (Warden Horn)

Spyglasses now replace most Modpacks Zoom Mods and also have been retextured to be accurate to its Recipe. (Spyglass Improvements, Tweaked Spyglass RP)

Also the Minimap Aspect has been taken care of, as of now you ll have to craft an Atlas, which you can extend by adding more empty Maps to it, although thats configurable in the base mod. (Map Atlases)

Glimmersight Goggles, which grant you Night vision, being very Important due to the pitch Black Nights & Undergrounds. (Wills Hedgehogs, True Darkness)

Mutant Skeleton Armor, which grants Speed. (Mutant Monsters)

Bunny Ears, which only grant Jump Boost. (Spelunkery)

THE WITHER:

The Wither has been fully reworked, also being the only Boss in the Pack. (Wither: Reincarnated)

RECOMMENDED TO WATCH A FULL FIGHT OF THE MOD ON YOUTUBE

You can summon the Wither by the Vanilla Summoning Ritual, but you ll need to craft both Soul Sand & Wither Skulls with the new Recipes.

NETHERITE TEMPLATES (usually 3) now drop alongside the Nether Star, being the only reliable way on getting to the Netherite Tier Gear.

NETHER STAR can be used to craft a new Storage Block; Nether Chest, which has the Capacity of a double Chest but up to 512 Items fit into each slot. (Nether Chested)

REPLACEMENTS:

Elytras have been replaced by Gliders, which arent as functional but still a good way to travel from the early game on. (Gliders)

Shulkers are being replaced by basic bundles, which can be enchanted & used to place blocks out of them. (Diversity Bundles)

ENVIRONMENT:

Furniture & other cosmetic Items for your Houses (Handcrafted, Chimes, Sooty Chimneys)

Many new Biomes + overhauled (Biomes o Plenty + Geophilic, Tectonic + Tweak, Deeper Oceans)

MANY new Animals to discover, hunt or tame. (Naturalist, Critters & Companions, Fowl Play, Bountiful Critters, Hamsters) CONFLICTING MOBS & ITEMS REMOVED

Prettier Waters & general Particles (Particular + Wakes)

Better Ambience & place dependent Music (Ambient Sounds + Sound Physics + Reactive Music)

FUN CONTENT:

A very sick Plant and more features that make you feel funny (Nirvana)

PLAYER:

New Animations for both players and their UI (Smooth Swapping, Advancement Plaques, Impressive Chat Animation, Immersive UI, Immersive Hotbar, Obscure Tooltips, Serious Player Animations + Serious Reanimated RP, Not enough Animations, Camera Overhaul, Just Expressions RP [view Fresh Moves Wiki for Eyes guide!])

You can also now see all those Third Person Animations, while also having visual effects on ur screen when taking Damage, or other activities! (First Person Player Model, Enhanced Visuals + Enhanced Visuals Pixelated RP)

To finish it up, theres mostly just more QOL, Fix and FPS Mods.

The inspiration for the pack came when I recently restarted playing Sons of the Forest and thought that it would be neat to have an at least similar feeling while playing Minecraft, although this pack really only has very few similarities to Sons of the Forest.
