Shadows Over Hearth is a handcrafted survival-horror adventure for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge built around suspense, exploration, progression, homesteading, and the uncomfortable feeling that something may be watching long before it decides to attack.

This is not a modpack about throwing monsters at you every thirty seconds.

It is about the walk home after sunset.

The shape between the trees.

The sound that stops when you stop.

And the relief of seeing the lights of home again.

Forsaken Horror Director operates behind the scenes to help coordinate horror pressure and prevent every major threat from piling onto the player at once.

Its purpose is not to make the game easy.

Its purpose is to make encounters matter.

Sometimes it watches.

Sometimes it interferes.

Sometimes it stays silent.

And under certain circumstances…

You may see the Director yourself.

It is not your friend.

It is not your guardian angel.
