Simple RPG Skills is a mod originally created by CrimsonTwilight using the Skill Tree mod API from Z-Doctor .

I decided to create this version of the mod because I felt some details were missing while playing the original version, and since it hasn’t received updates in a long time, I decided to add some small improvements myself. However, nothing was done for profit; after all, all rights to this mod belong to CrimsonTwilight .

Below are the changes I made:

-Experience crystal added.

-Added more ranged damage. (Now goes up to level 20)

-Added the Awakening skill, modified to deal damage and ranged damage.

Improve your skills!

Use the Z-Doctor Skill Tree Mod

There seems to be a conflict between the Skill Tree API and some mods, including Custom NPCs. Unless I create my own API, unfortunately, it’s unlikely this problem will be resolved anytime soon.

Currently, the following skills have been added:

Damage+: Increase your base damage!

– Double Damage: Doubles your base damage!

– Sword Proficiency: Increase your damage with swords! (Works with all Item Swords)

– Axe Proficiency: Increase your damage with an axe! (Works with all Axe items)

Attack Speed+: Increase your attack speed!

Health+: Increase your base health!

Health Multiplier: Double your health!

Armor+: Increase your base armor!

Armor Resistance+: Increase your base armor resistance!

– Golden Damage+: Increases damage with all Golden Tools!

– Golden Repair: Slowly repairs golden equipment (tools and armor); higher levels add more repair slots.

– Luck+: Increases your luck!

– Movement+: Increases your speed!

– Awakening: Increases Health, Armor, Armor Resistance, and Speed!

– Soft Drop: Reduces the impact of the fall!

– Rapid Regeneration: Quickly regenerates lost health; maximum regeneration increases with level! Just like in Prey !

Rare Item: Increase your chances of obtaining items with this mod!

– Double Heal: Doubles all healing! Essential for players with a lot of health!

Damage++: Increases base damage by 0.02 per level, multiplied by all unused skill points!

– Resistance to Repulsion: Increases resistance to repulsion!

– Ranged Damage+: Increases projectile damage!

Items added:

– Skill Crystal: Grants one skill point, rarely obtainable as a reward from monsters.

– Staff of Skills: Grants one skill point, with a 10-minute cooldown, and can also be enchanted. Rarely obtained from monsters.

Golden Horseshoe: Grants 5 to 25 experience, rarely obtainable from horse-like creatures. (Note: Mod creatures may not work depending on how they were created. Some may work, others may not.)

PENDING:

– Adding skills to reduce fatigue, etc.

Add an enchantment that increases the skill points granted by the Staff of Skills.

Add advancements.

– Add integration with Tetra so that Tetra tools receive their corresponding bonuses.

– Add interaction with moderators.

This mod will be part of a modular set of mods to add RPG elements to Minecraft, all playable independently. Feel free to give ideas/suggestions for improvements and report bugs in the issue tracker!

Q: Will you be adding integration with module x?

A: As soon as version 1.0.0 is released, I will begin working on any major integrations. Please leave a note in the issue tracker indicating which mod integration you would like to see. If it’s something simple, I can add it sooner.

Q: Program X crashes on the server.
A: It’s almost certainly an API problem. I’ve already mentioned this to the developer, but he hasn’t tried to fix it.
