CSMod – Counter-Strike Gamemode for Minecraft

Turn any map into a competitive Terrorists vs Counter-Terrorists match. Rounds, a bomb, an economy and a buy menu, all running on top of your favourite gun mod.

Features

Full match flow

• Lobby, freeze time, live round, round end and match end
• Halftime side swap, first side to 13 rounds wins (configurable)
• Round MVP announcement and end-of-match standings (kills, deaths, damage)
• Spectate teammates after you die

Bomb mode

• Plant the bomb inside bomb sites, defuse it as a Counter-Terrorist
• Defuse Kit (CT only): cuts the defuse time from 10 s to 5 s, stays with you until you die
• Optional integration with a C4 mod (C4 Pro)

Economy and Buy Menu

• Money, kill rewards, win rewards and loss-streak bonuses
• Buy zone around your spawn and a buy time limit (default 20 s after freeze time)
• In-game buy menu: Pistols, SMGs, Rifles, Snipers, Heavy, Knives and Equipment
• Live search box, plus tooltips showing magazine size, reserve ammo and fire mode
• Everything can run free (no economy) for casual servers

Weapons

• Built for TACZ (Timeless and Classics Zero) guns
• Weapon, knife and grenade catalogs are plain JSON files, add your own items with in-game commands
• Automatic registration for the MCS2 gunpack when installed

Teams and rules

• Auto-balance keeps teams even
• Friendly fire toggle
• Server-wide settings in settings.json: round times, rewards, bomb timers, buy time and more

Bots

• Works with the csbot mod: add or remove T/CT bots from the menu, missing bots are topped up every round

Map Settings (operators only)

• Set day or night, lock the time, switch between clear and rainy weather, straight from the buy menu

Built for map makers

• Spawns, lobby and bomb sites are stored inside the world folder (<world>/csmod/spawns.json)
• Ship a map in a modpack and its spawns come with it
• Broken config files are backed up automatically (.bak) and replaced with working defaults

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge [CHECK your Forge version]
• TACZ – recommended, needed for guns

• C4 Pro – ready-made C4 mod
• MCS2 gunpack – CS-style weapon skins

Quick start

1. Put the mod in your mods folder (server and clients) [CHECK: server only or both?]
2. Stand where Terrorists should spawn and run /cs setspawn t, then /cs setspawn ct for the other side
3. Optional: /cs setsite <name> at a bomb site, /cs setlobby for a lobby point [CHECK exact command names]
4. Hold a TACZ gun (ammo in your off-hand) and run /cs weapon add <category>
5. Join a team from the menu (press B or right-click the nether star), then start the match
