DAP ur Homies: Native Friendship (Unofficial)

An unofficial native NeoForge port of Anteryo’s DAP Your Homies: True Friendship 3.0.0 update for Minecraft 1.21.1.

Dap your friends, chain combos, hug, throw and catch other players, and enjoy animated impact effects. Includes huddles, coordinated bros movement, hand spinning, fusion mechanics, the black hood, Mahito potion and Todo potion.

This version runs directly on NeoForge without Sinytra Connector, Fabric API or Forgified Fabric API.

Port improvements

Native NeoForge multiplayer, animations, rendering and commands. dedicated-server loading, missing client initialization, fusion-state updates, volume restoration and shader/resource loading.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge 21.1.252 or newer for Minecraft 1.21.1
• Java 21
• Player Animation Library: NeoForge 1.1.6 for Minecraft 1.21.1

Installation

Install this mod and Player Animation Library on the server and every player’s client. Everyone must use the same DAP port version.

Remove previous DAP / Coop Moves JARs before installing. This port replaces the original mod; do not install both together.

Find DAP key bindings in Controls. Use /dap settings for comfort settings, including camera shake.

First public beta

Tested with a dedicated server and two real clients, including creative inventory, animations, impact effects, coordinated movement and fusion startup. Full fusion completion and every mod combination have not been verified.

Report port-specific bugs in this project’s comments with your crash report and mod versions.
