You wake up, groggy and unaware of your surroundings. Your lungs feel strained and heaving, like you aren’t used to this much oxygen. The feeling quickly fades as the air grows heavier and harder to breathe, replaced with a constricting feeling as the toxic air begins to roll over you. You struggle to find shelter in a nearby village and wonder ‘Where the hell am I?’
This modpack pits the player against an apocalypse. The world seems perfectly normal, but the air is impossible to breathe without filtration and the monsters that come out at night seem to grow stronger from it. What caused this enigmatic disaster? How can you survive? Use a combination of magic, technology, and cunning to thrive in a landscape scarred by unbreathable toxic air.
This is a general purpose modpack with many categories of mods, but it was originally designed for a PVP Factions-style SMP with mods like Bewitchment and Flans Mod. Many of the mods in this pack are highly configurable, including the primary focus of the pack, Need to Breathe! Is toxic air everywhere too much for you? Configure the poison to infect only certain dimensions.
