Tiganj Core

Tiganj Core is the official compatibility and stability helper mod for the Tiganj modpack.

It contains small targeted patches for crashes or compatibility issues caused by interactions between the mods used in the pack. Tiganj Core does not add new blocks, items, mobs, dimensions, progression systems, or gameplay content. It exists only to keep the modpack stable while still allowing important RPG, combat, exploration, and UI mods to stay enabled.

Current Fixes

• Fixes a recursive wall sign description-id crash that could happen while rendering inventory-style GUI screens.
• Prevents StackOverflowError: Rendering screen crashes caused by wall sign and wall hanging sign block items being rendered in inventories, codex screens, loot screens, and other modded GUIs.
• Prevents Blueprint’s modded biome slice wrapper from replacing active BetterX/BCLib dimension biome sources, reducing the risk of new worlds becoming unable to reopen after first save.
• Adds a defensive null entity guard for Minecraft ally checks, preventing a server tick crash seen with Caverns & Chasms rat alert AI when a hurt/target entity is missing.
• No longer blocks World Corruption Fixer, allowing Tiganj players to test it again for world rejoin/loading recovery.

This mod is intended as a required dependency for the Tiganj modpack. Install it on both client and server when playing multiplayer.

Notes

These fixes are intentionally narrow and pack-focused. If an upstream mod update fully resolves one of these issues later, that specific patch can be removed from Tiganj Core in a future release.
