The Impossible Library

The Impossible Library is a general-purpose API and multiversion loader for Minecraft mods. It provides common utilities and compatibility layers so a compatible mod can share code across several Minecraft versions and mod loaders.

Supported versions

Quilt compatibility follows the Fabric path and may depend on the specific mod combination. The table describes the upstream compatibility target; individual mod integrations still need to match their own loader and Minecraft version.

Installation

Install the JAR for the matching Minecraft version and loader in the instance’s mods directory. This is primarily a library: install it together with the mod that requires it.

Build note

This package is a downstream ARM64 compatibility build based on upstream version 0.4.7. The source license and upstream notices remain included.
