Hearthbound – The Last Hearth

🌾 What is Hearthbound?

Hearthbound mixes a Stardew-style farming life with Elden Ring-style exploration and boss fights, tied together by a story and over 700 hand-written quests. You can spend a whole week farming and decorating, or set off on a dungeon crawl. The quest book guides you either way.

• A story told through letters. Follow Nana Hazel’s letters, hunt down the Blight’s anchors, reclaim six different Hearth Embers and uncover where the Blight really comes from.
• A guide for every mod. Every major mod has its own detailed chapter, so you never need a wiki open.
• Rewards that matter. Quests give real modded loot: fixed rewards, random loot rolls and “choose one” prizes.
• Bosses everywhere. Over 30 bosses across the world, the Twilight Forest, the Aether, and all other dimensions each with a big payout when you beat it.
• Your own path. Choose your own playstyle with our custom skill tree, The Hearth, with eight branches and keystones that shape how you play. (Will be updated in future releases)

✨ Highlights

• Seasons that matter. Crops grow in their own seasons, so plan your fields around the calendar.
• A real kitchen. Hundreds of crops, dishes and drinks from Farmer’s Delight and Croptopia, plus fishing with Tide’s rods, bait and crates.
• Pick a class. Become a Wizard, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warrior or Archer, each with spells and gear of their own.
• Grow your skills. Level up by fighting, mining, farming and fishing, then spend points on The Hearth skill tree. Choose your four keystones carefully.
• Enchanting reborn. Zenith turns enchanting into something to master, with special bookshelves and enchantments up to level 100.
• Witchcraft. Brew potions, draw ritual circles, make poppets and fly on a broomstick.
• New worlds to explore. Float among the islands of the Aether, wander a giant beehive in the Bumblezone, brave the Twilight Forest, and build rockets to the Moon, Mars and beyond.
• Build a home you love. Thousands of decorative blocks and furniture for every wood type.
• Travel in style. Backpacks with sleeping bags and tanks, plus waystones to get home fast.
• Huge worlds. Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone, YUNG’s overhauled structures and caves, Dungeons & Taverns, and much more.
• Nice to look at. A custom title screen, dynamic lights from torches in your hand, a set of cozy resource packs (better grass, flowers, crops, lanterns and boss bars) and Iris shader support.

• REI: click any item in the quest book to see its recipe.
• Xaero’s Minimap & World Map: press M for the map, B to add a waypoint.
• Jade: see what you’re looking at.
• Lootr: every loot chest has its own loot for each player, so friends never miss out.
• FTB Ultimine, AppleSkin, Mouse Tweaks, Controlling and other small comforts.
• Simple Voice Chat for playing with friends.
• Performance mods (Sodium, ModernFix, Starlight and more) so it runs well on most PCs.

Handy keys: K opens your skill tree, J opens your backpack, M opens the world map, and the quest book is on the left side of your inventory.

💻Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric (installed for you by the CurseForge app)
• 6–8 GB of RAM allocated is recommended

🚧 Beta Notice

Hearthbound is in beta. All of the mod quest groups are ready to play. The story is still being written and balance may change between versions. If you find a bug or a quest that doesn’t work, please report it in the comments with your log if you can.
