Ores Hard To Find

Tools & Armor:

• Full tier with dynamic oxidation textures.
• Armor slowly degrades when worn.

Progression:

• Iron ore now requires a copper pickaxe to mine.
• Don’t forget to make a Brush – you might need it.

Generation:

• No vanilla gold ore (except Nether).
• Now found in brushable variants: gold-infused sand, gravel, clay near rivers/lakes.

Generation:

• Brushable suspicious gravel and sand with blue-gray particles.
• Can be foun near water or in gravel mountains

Usages:

• Craft magnetometers.
• Make charged magnets (with lightning).

Magnetometer is a new tool that helps you navigate in caves. When used, it emits a beam of particles pointing in the direction of the nearest ore. But dont trust it too much: the precision of the beam dergrades rapidly with distance.

Magnetometers are divided into three tiers: copper, iron and netherite.

Generation:

• Only in rare deepslate veins.

Progression:

• Can be found with copper magnetometer
• Requires copper pickaxe for mining

New Mechanic:

• Suspicious Iron Ore:
  • Identical to vanilla ore but transforms into an Iron Ore Golem when mined.
  • Defeat the golem for raw iron.
  • Silk Touch lets you collect it safely.

To craft a next tier Magnetometer you first need to obtain Charged Magnet.

Crafting recipe for Uncharged Magnet:

When, place Lightning Rod on top of it, and go do some farming, or idk. Eventually, a lightning strike turns it into a Charged Magnet.

Now you can craft an Iron Magnetometer!

It works just like it’s copper variant, but is more durable and also can detect Lapis Lazuli and Redstone.

Generation:

• Custom geodes (like amethysts).
• Contains lapis-calcite ore clusters.

No Changes (for now):

• Same enchanting uses (but harder to find).

Generation:

• Changed slightly. Still generates on the same level, but rearer and with redstone block as a core.

No Changes (and won’t be):

• Redstone is already has deep mechanics in vanilla

Generation:

• Deep Dark exclusive as Shrieking Diamond Ore.

Mechanics:

• Plays sound when activated by sculk sensor’s vibrations, so they can de found even if completely buried.
• Mines safely with Silk Touch.
• Without it: shrieks like a sculk shrieker.
