Improved Animal Husbandry

This mod reworks the animal breeding system, making it slower, more gradual, and more consistent.

Key Features

• Full pregnancy cycle. Animals no longer give birth immediately after feeding — each species now has its own gestation period.

• Species‑based pregnancy duration.

  • Large animals (cows, sheep, camels, etc.) — up to 7 in‑game days.

  • Small animals (rabbits, chickens, etc.) — around 1 day. (Chickens are treated as live‑bearing for gameplay purposes.)

• Growth time depends on species. Baby animals grow for the same amount of time as their species’ pregnancy duration.

• Increased drops. Fully raised animals provide significantly more loot.

• Chickens no longer hatch from thrown eggs.
