OK so like hear me out, okay? I really underestimated how tedious it would be to make everything work so the ages and stages update will be a bit longer. If for some reason ANY other part of the released content doesn’t work, let me know. 

Pending – Ages and Stages Update: 

Hello! Right now this pack is probably just a cluster of unconfigured mods and some functionality is still missing, but if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment!

Gain levels and skills like an RPG, fight mobs, kill bosses, and climb your way up the ladder of success. The end goal of the main questline is to conquer space, but there’s a challenge version unlocked afterward. 

The current (unimplemented) plan for ages is:

The Wood Age: The shortest age. You must survive off of wooden tools until you mine your first stone. In this age, hostile mob spawns, excluding zombies, are disabled. Thus, it may be beneficial to keep from mining stone until you’ve reached a suitable area. For too long have I struggled to find land after spawning on a treeless island in the middle of the ocean. 

The Stone Age: The true beginning of the pack. After mining stone, the stone age begins and everything up to Iron mining level is available. 

The Iron Age: After mining iron ore, the iron age unlocks and other NPCs around the world (including some hostile ones) will begin to have iron armor and tools. Lots of mobs and blocks will be unlocked, including TCON foundries. 

The Golden Age: After mining gold ore, the golden age is unlocked. Not much happens in the golden age. It’s the perfect era to construct a new, larger base and gain stability. 

The Industrial Revolution: After crafting your first copper wire, all Immersive Engineering blocks are unlocked. 

The Scientific Revolution: Upon breaking open a meteor, you will unlock IC2, AE2, and COFH blocks. 
The Second Scientific Revolution: Upon unlocking the scientific revolution and finding an EnderIO gear somewhere in the map, EnderIO blocks will be unlocked.
The Nuclear Revolution: Upon unlocking the scientific revolution and refining uranium/yellorium, NuclearCraft and Extreme Reactors are unlocked.

The Ascendant Age: After Killing a Wither, the ASC Age will unlock and grant access to the Twilight Forest.

The High Age: After killing all bosses in the Twilight Forest, the High Age will unlock and grant access to space. 
The Space Age: Hooray! You’ve reached the highest point in the current base edition of the game… but wait, there’s another…
The End Age: If you’ve killed the Ender Dragon and completed all objectives in the Space Age questline, you’ll enter the End Age. In the End Age, everything should be unlocked (besides the stuff gated behind the Mythic Age). To Enter the Mythic Age, you must possess several “trophies” obtained throughout the main questline.
