Cobbletasks

Daily and weekly tasks for Cobblemon, plus timed community events for the whole server.

Play Cobblemon as usual, then right-click a Task Projector to see your tasks and claim your rewards. Tasks are plain JSON files in a data pack, so you can add your own or change the built-in ones.

Daily and weekly tasks

Every day and every week a new set of tasks is picked, and every player gets the same ones. Tasks ask you to do things like catch Pokémon, win battles, evolve, heal, fish or harvest berries. Some are more specific, like catching a Water-type or winning a battle at night. Don’t like a task? Reroll it a limited number of times.

Rewards

Finished tasks are claimed from the task screen. Rewards can be items, experience, Pokémon or anything a command can do.

Streaks and bonuses

Claim at least one task every day or week to build a streak. Claiming every task in a period and reaching streak lengths pays bonus rewards.

Community events

An admin or the server can start an event: one goal for everyone, with a time limit, like catching 60 Pokémon in 30 minutes. If you reach it, everyone who helped can claim the reward, even if they were offline.

Make your own tasks

Every task is a JSON file in a data pack. You can add tasks, replace the built-in ones, make server-wide goals, chain tasks together or add “in a row” challenges. The official documentation explains the format.
