Ice & Fire Legacy

Ice and Fire: 1.7.10 Backport

This is an unofficial backport of Ice and Fire: Dragons to Minecraft 1.7.10. It adds mythical creatures, dragon progression, and dragon-themed gear to the base game, and it works in singleplayer and on dedicated servers.

Dragons

• Fire and ice dragons spawn in the world as wild, hostile creatures. They breathe fire or frost, which can burn or freeze terrain and players.
• Hatch a dragon egg and raise it from hatchling to adult. As it grows, it becomes stronger and can be ridden. 
• Dragons lay waste to the surrounding area, so each encounter changes how you explore and build.

Mythical creatures

• Hippogryphs: tameable winged creatures that can be ridden.
• Cockatrices: their gaze is dangerous, so you need a plan before fighting one. 
• Gorgons: looking at one turns you to stone. 
• Sea serpents: they attack from the water, so ocean travel gets riskier. 
• Trolls: they spawn in the world and drop materials for crafting

• Collect dragon bones, scales, and blood to craft tools, weapons, and armor. These are stronger than iron or diamond gear in several respects. [Adjust to your actual stats]
• Dragon scale armor gives resistance to fire or ice, depending on the dragon it came from. 
• Dragon-related items give mid-to-late-game players new goals beyond vanilla progression

Why download it?
If you play 1.7.10 modpacks or servers and want Ice and Fire’s creatures and dragon progression without moving to a newer version, this backport brings that content to the older version.
